CEO, CHANA Project
Marie Heriveaux, a practicing raw food advocate and consultant,
has done an outstanding job of compiling some of her best
recipes in her new book, “The More Greens The Merrier.”
This collection of raw food recipes is a terrific resource
for anyone who has been tinkering with the idea of switching
to a healthier, more natural way of eating. It would also
make a great addition to the collection of those who are already
familiar with the raw food way of life.
“The More Greens The Merrier” is well organized, and the
recipes are simple, practical and easy to follow. As an added
bonus, Marie has included lots of helpful tips, from selecting
equipment to shopping for food and making your own sprouts.
I am sure that most newbies will find the glossary and the
section on making substitutions quite useful, as well.
Studies show that a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, nuts,
seeds, dried beans and peas may help to prevent obesity and
cut the risk of heart disease and other chronic ailments.
These foods are the foundation for the recipes in “The More
Greens the Merrier.” You’ll want to try them and reap
some real health and nutrition benefits.
